My simple and very tasty egg drop soup recipe is over at New West for your viewing pleasure! An excerpt:

I have a conflicted love for Chinese restaurants. On the one hand, you can always get something cheap and tasty. On the other hand, it’s usually loaded with sodium and MSG and made with white rice and out-of-season produce. Add in all the waste from take-out boxes and throw-away chopsticks, and I feel pretty damn guilty every time I visit the Triple Dragon here in Missoula…

That soup is one of my all-time favorite things to eat. When I’m under the weather, I often add minced ginger and green chard.
