I always buy way more broccoli than I can figure out what to do with. Here’s a fast, easy way to render a giant pile of broccoli into something much less healthy and way more salty and delicious. Slather it in sriracha if you so dare.
Broccoli with Soy Sauce and Fish Sauce
As much broccoli as you’ve got, chopped up
A few teaspoons of soy sauce
Scant amount of fish sauce (remember, this stuff is real strong)
Put broccoli in pan, cover about halfway with water. Bring to a boil. Splash in soy and fish sauce. Cover, and simmer until tender.
